The company
The Villanueva Merino brothers founded Pescairuña S.L., a company through which they carry on the family tradition, in 1993.
More than 30 years on and Pescairuña still distributes its products throughout Navarra, standing out for quality and preparation tailored to meet each customer’s requirements.
The company buys its products at source from both the Spanish and European markets to provide its customers with the maximum quality.
The staff at Pescairuña S.L. consists of a team of professionals with great knowledge of the sector and experience in the handling and processing of fish and shellfish.
Facilities
Pescairuña S.L. serves the catering trade from its 1,000-m2 facility on the Polígono de los Agustinos industrial estate and has a stall at the Mercairuña fish market (No. 11) to supply fishmongers.
The equipment and technology at the company’s facilities guarantee the traceability of our products.
Pescairuña S.L. has a cold storage room with capacity for 200 tonnes, shellfish live wells and a large fleet of vehicles which ensure that the cold chain is never broken. This allows us to offer restaurants in Navarra the best fish you can find.
And in compliance with the company’s commitment to the environment, we have installed photovoltaic panels to advance the use of renewable energies and improve energy efficiency.
